Jason Levermore - PGA Professional Golfer

Jason turned Professional in 1999 at the age of 20 and completed his PGA Training at Clacton golf club under his father Stuart Levermore.

Jason has been playing full time golf for the last 10 years where he has competed in events around the world as well as on the European tour/Challenge tour/Europrotour as well as many other smaller Golf tours, with some of his best performances coming in the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth which he is playing for the fifth time this year.

Jason took on the Head Pro’s role at Channels in May 2013 where he runs the Pro shop and coaches, whilst continuing to represent Channels in local and national PGA tournaments.

Paul Bate – PGA Professional Coach

Paul turned Professional in 1996 and did his PGA training at Woodbridge Golf Club in Suffolk. Once qualified, Paul soon found that coaching was his main passion, and joined Brett vale golf club in 2001 to become a full time coach.

Paul has coached or coaches players of all standards including beginners, club golfers, international and county players and also fellow Professionals.

His style of coaching is very simple and versatile, believing that there are many ways to play golf, although some key ingredients are essential to achieving consistency.

Sports psychology is also a large part of Paul's coaching and you will be sure to understand your all round game far better having had a lesson with him.

Dave March

David is a highly regarded and experienced coach who has had the pleasure of working with all levels of golfer from beginners to professionals. David began his professional career at 17 less than four years after taking it up, and like all youngsters wanted to win The Open and play in the Ryder Cup. He competed on mini tours and regional PGA events with some success and fully qualified with the PGA aged 20, one of the youngest in history to pass. David joined the then Regiment Way staff in 1995 and was appointed head pro in 2002.

David was made Captain of the Essex PGA in 2004.

Alongside Steve Cardy, David also coaches the Essex County boys and helps coach the Essex Girls Team. David is also one of the three leading junior coaches who joined forces to develop a junior coaching programme and created The Futures Acadamey.

Steve Cardy

Is a highly respected coach who throughout his career has attended and contributed too many teaching and coaching summits in the UK, mainland Europe and the USA.

Further enhancing Steve’s excellent coaching reputation he holds the highly distinguished posts of PGA of Great Britain National Swing Tutor and Swing Examiner. Furthermore, and in conjunction with David Brooks, he has been a leading light in establishing the Essex County Coaching programme as one of the most successful of its kind in the UK. This he has achieved in his capacity as an Essex County Coach.

Jack Cole

Jack has recently qualified as a PGA professional and is already building a very good reputation as a coach, especially with juniors. He is one of the FUTURES ACADEMY coaches set up at Little Channels. He also assists Head Pro David Marchin running a school programme which sees him visit schools across the county delivering a programme tailored for children.

Matthew Mahoney

Matthew is in his third year of qualifying to be a PGA professional and joined the team of pro’s at Little Channels in May 2010. Matt has a great attitude and patience to be a very good coach and is already helping out coaching for the FUTURES ACADEMY and schools programmes. Matt plays in the Essex PGA events having competed on a county level for the last couple of years.
